SARAJEVO, April 14 (FENA) - BiH Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Staša Košarac sent an open letter to BiH citizens stating that by buying domestic products, we directly help preserve existing jobs and create new jobs, which is crucial in this time of uncertainty.
“We are facing a global challenge caused by the spread of coronavirus, which will define our era. The decisions we make today will mark our society in the years ahead. In circumstances where social distance is the best way to take care of one another, we must not distance ourselves from solidarity,” said Košarac.
He urged citizens to show solidarity together with local entrepreneurs, who found themselves in a difficult situation in the new circumstances.
He added that the purchase of local products contributes to the stability of the health and education system, as well as the pension fund.
“In this way, we will indirectly express our appreciation for relentless struggle and selfless commitment of our health and education workers, but also show concern for our third-age citizens in the circumstances we face. I encourage you to buy local products, because such a decision builds our community and means investing in future generations,” said Košarac, announced the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH.
