SARAJEVO, April 17 (FENA) - FBiH sanitary inspectors at border crossings, have issued, as of March 15 to date, a total of 25,598 orders on placing passengers under medical surveillance, i.e., restricted movement or isolation for a 14-day period, said a member of the FBiH Civil Protection Crisis Staff and Director of the FBiH Inspection Directorate, Anis Ajdinović, at a regular address of representatives of FBiH institutions regarding the spread of coronavirus pandemic.
Ajdinović said that measures of isolation issued to 377 persons by the sanitary inspectors expired today and that, concluding 16 April, a total of 19,332 persons have concluded their mandatory isolation period of 14 days.
Ajdinović said three BiH citizens who came back on the flight from Stockholm were unfortunately positive for coronavirus.
"Two BiH citizens who entered BiH in the previous three days and were temporarily detained at the Izačić border crossing, then sent to a quarantine facility in the Una-Sana area, are also positive for coronavirus. One person who entered BiH in the previous three days, who was temporarily detained at the border crossing of Osoje, is also unfortunately positive for coronavirus, and that person has also been sent to the quarantine area," Ajdinović said.
"In the period between March 15 and April 17, 233 inspection raids were carried out and 179 inspections at gas stations, pharmacies and other retail outlets. A total of 252 misdemeanors were found, which implies the issuance of a total of 252 misdemeanor orders in the amount of 401,200 KM. Irregularities in business operations were not identified in 179 subjects of supervision, that is, it was found that citizens' reports were unsubstantiated," said Ajdinović.
