SARAJEVO, May 20 (FENA) - Deputies of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted at today's continuation of the session the amendment to the Law on VAT which is the proposal of the Speaker of the House Denis Zvizdić (SDA).
Zvizdić's conclusion was also accepted, in which he asked the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina to consider this law in an urgent legislative procedure.
The amendment to the Law on Excise Duties proposed by Our Party MPs Predrag Kojović, Mirjana Marinković-Lepić and Damir Arnaut, as well as the MP of the Independent Bloc Aida Baručija, was accepted, which refers to the abolition of excise duty on denatured alcohol needed in the chemical industry for disinfectants.
In the first reading, the deputies also accepted the Bill on Amendments to the Criminal Code of BiH, which was proposed by MPs Saša Magazinović (SDP), Jasmin Emrić (A-SDA) and Šemsudin Mehmedović (SDA), which refers to better definition of terrorism.
The deputies also appointed members of the Temporary Commission of Inquiry of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina to determine the situation in the judicial institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the session, the conclusion of MP Nermin Nikšić (SDP) was adopted, by which the House of Representatives urges the Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices of BiH for precise information on how the company "Srebrena Malina" was approved to purchase ventilators within seven days.
After that, the three-day session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH ended and the next session should be around June 10.
