SARAJEVO, May 28 (FENA) - After the deputies of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly did not support his proposal to consider amendments to the Law on VAT, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of BiH PA Denis Zvizdić said that he expected deputies to support the amendments.
“I thought they would have an understanding for the fact that more than 30.000 business entities supported this proposal, as well as for the arguments I presented when I explained the proposed amendments,” said Zvizdić.
He stated that deadline for paying VAT in BiH is the shortest in Europe, and that moving that deadline would currently leave around 200 million KM in cash flows, which would significantly increase the company's liquidity.
“I think that this is a rational proposal that is supported by the real sector, and it has been overcome by politics, as it usually happens when politics interferes in the profession and in quality legal solutions,” claims Zvizdić.
He pointed out that this subject will not be forgotten because business enitites require it, and the proposal is in line with the European Union directive.
