FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, June 1 (FENA) - Minister of Human Rights and Refugees in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Miloš Lučić talked today with the Head of the OSCE Mission to BiH, Ambassador Kathleen Kavalec.

Bearing in mind that the OSCE Mission to BiH is a long-term partner of the BiH Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees, Lučić and Kavalec agreed that it is necessary to continue cooperation on all issues.

In a video conversation, the interlocutors expressed hope that a Memorandum of Understanding between the ministry and the OSCE Mission to BiH would be signed soon.

The need to help refugees as the most vulnerable categories of the population in BiH was especially emphasized.

The fight against discrimination, protection of human rights, minority rights and gender equality are areas where these two institutions are cooperating intensively and which will be continued in the future, the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH stated.
