First session of Group for Socio-Economic Response to COVID-19 pandemic

SARAJEVO, June 2 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers Zoran Tegeltija chaired today the first constitutive session of the Group for Socio-Economic Response to the COVID-19 pandemic, at which the group's work was discussed.

The Socio-Economic Response Group, formed by the Council of Ministers, and given the severity and extent of the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, is responsible for coordinating the activities of all levels of government to define socio-economic measures to respond to the crisis and analyze the socio-economic consequences of the pandemic, harmonization and coordination of measures in response to the socio-economic consequences and effects caused by the pandemic, and coordination of activities of all levels of government to provide funding for all levels of government through the mobilization of domestic funds and foreign financial assistance, including EU assistance.

The Group for Socio-Economic Response is chaired by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, and the Advisory Group of the Fiscal Council of BiH provides support in determining the policies of the Group for Socio-Economic Response and Administrative-Technical Support.

The group for socio-economic response, in addition to the chairman of the BiHCoM, consists of the Fiscal Council of BiH, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations and the Standing Committee on Financial Stability of BiH.
