SARAJEVO, June 11 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija (SNSD) announced today that this year's budget should be considered at the next session of the BiH Council of Ministers.
As he reminded, the budget document was sent to the Presidency of BiH earlier, but it was decided that the document does not reflect the situation as it was during the preparation of that financial document, and it was returned to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH for revision.
“It is true that I have said several times that the budget will be adopted before the end of May, but some institutions in mid-May requested a change in their budget requirements, which additionally created a problem for the Ministry,” Tegeltija added.
Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Dzaferovicć, said that the Council of Ministers of BiH did not meet the deadline to submit the Draft Law on Budget of the BiH Institutions and International Obligations of BiH for 2020 by May 31, and the Presidency of BiH obliged the Council of Ministers to do so without delay.
