NATO HQ Sarajevo welcomes the decision on salary increase for the AFBiH soldiers

SARAJEVO, June 12 (FENA) - Brigadier General William Edwards, Commander of the NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, talked today with the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH, Colonel General Senad Mašović, about current activities and continued cooperation.

Edwards expressed satisfaction with the final adoption of amendments to the Law on Salaries and Remunerations in the BiH Institutions in both houses of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, which will ensure the improvement of the status of soldiers and non-commissioned officers in the BiH Armed Forces.

The salary increase comes as a support for the soldiers of the Armed Forces of BiH who are working to make Bosnia and Herzegovina safer and more stable.

NATO Headquarters Sarajevo is available to provide support to the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and remains committed to our partnership with Bosnia and Herzegovina, the NATO Headquarters stated.
