SARAJEVO, June 16 (FENA) - Cadet Adis Poško is the first cadet from Bosnia and Herzegovina to graduate from the prestigious US Military Academy "West Point", the BiH Ministry of Defense announced.
The graduation ceremony for the 2020 graduation class that Adis Poško attended, was held on Saturday, June 13, on the main parade ground of the West Point Academy in New York.
On that occasion, the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, addressed 1.107 participants gathered at one place.
“This premier military academy produces only the best of the best, the strongest of the strong, and the bravest of the brave. West Point is a universal symbol of American gallantry, loyalty, devotion, discipline, and great skill,” President Trump said.
According to the contract with the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Adis Poško will continue his career as the first officer of the Armed Forces of BiH who graduated from the West Point Military Academy.
Together with cadet Adis Poško and along with American students in this generation, there were also graduating cadets from Georgia, Honduras, South Korea, Kosovo, Moldova, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Tanzania.
