BiH MoFA submits proposal for appointment of NATO Integration Commission

SARAJEVO, July 9 (FENA) - After several months of efforts, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina gathered information from all competent state institutions on the names of proposed members for establishment of a new convocation of the NATO Integration Process Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In accordance with procedures, the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as the institution headed by the Chairman of this Commission, sent requests to the competent ministries of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina to submit the necessary opinions, in order for BiH to forward it to the agenda of the session of the Council of Ministers for adoption, the PR Office of the BiH MoFA announced.

The BiH MoFA expects that the process of establishing a new convocation of the Commission will take place in urgent procedure, having in mind the commitments of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the document Review of Reforms, and fulfillment of partnership goals arising from defined forms of cooperation between NATO and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that for the implementation of this decision it is not necessary to allocate additional funds, i.e. members of the Commission are not entitled to remuneration for work in the Commission, and the contribution of members and institutions is realized within regular activities for which funds are provided in the budgets of each individual institutions.
