United Kingdom - Online commemoration for the victims of Srebrenica genocide

SARAJEVO, July 10 (FENA) - A commemoration for the victims of the Srebrenica genocide in Great Britain this year will be held online, on Saturday evening, July 11, via video broadcast, it was announced from the Bosnia UK Network.

The organizer of the commemoration is Remembering Srebrenica association, and the event will be broadcast on many channels and social networks and will contain video testimonies and messages from survivors and key figures.

Some of the survivors will share painful and shocking confessions, and among the guests of the national marking of the 25th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide are - Prince Charles, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Chairman and Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović and Zeljko Komšić, as well as Raisu-l -ulama of the Islamic Community in BiH Hussein ef. Kavazović, Cardinal Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Westminster and President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference in England and Wales, Chief Rabbi of the United Hebrew Congregations of the Ephraim Mirvis Community, former British Prime Minister David Cameron, Lord Hague, former British Foreign Secretary, former US Secretary of State Madeline Albright, Adama Dieng, UN Under-Secretary-General and UN Secretary-General's Special Adviser on Genocide Prevention, Christiane Amanpour CBE, chief international presenter for CNN and a prominent journalist who reported from BiH during the war.
