During the telephone conversation, the two generals exchanged information on the situation regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, current and future activities of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also the situation in the Central African Republic (CAR), where members of the BiH Armed Forces participate in the EU Training Mission.

General Mašović informed General Graziano about the existing problems and asked for the support of the EU Military Committee, especially when it comes to demining process in BiH.

Due to non-adoption of the budget, the Armed Forces of BiH are facing the lack of certain equipment that is essential for continuation of the process of humanitarian demining in the entire territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

General Graziano once again emphasized the commitment of the EU Military Committee and EU leaders to the countries of the Western Balkans, and promised to do his utmost to support the solution of these problems.
