SARAJEVO, July 16 (FENA) - Representatives of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the international community in BiH talked today via video link about the possibilities of continuing support for infrastructure projects in the field of water supply, for which local communities in BiH have expressed interest.
The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Zoran Tegeltija, expressed the readiness of the Council of Ministers to cooperate and support activities that contribute to improving the living standards of all citizens and informed his interlocutors about the need to implement measures necessary to mitigate the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The interlocutors jointly pointed out the importance of investing in water management infrastructure projects, in order to ensure uninterrupted and continuous water supply and sanitation for citizens, especially in situations such as the ongoing pandemic.
The meeting was also attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Bisera Turković and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Stasša Košarac, as well as Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury in the Council of Ministers Hazim Rančić, the Council of Ministers of BiH said.
On behalf of the international community, the meeting was attended by World Bank Director in BiH Emanuel Salinas, Head of the European Union Delegation to BiH and EU Special Representative Johann Sattler, UN Resident Representative in BiH Steliana Nedera, Swiss Ambassador to BiH Andrea Rauber Saxer and Swedish Ambassador to BiH Johanna Strömquist.
