SARAJEVO, August 26 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina Staša Košarac received today Director of the BiH Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) Milica Marković.
The officials discussed cooperation between the Ministry and FIPA, as well as creating a favorable business environment for attracting foreign investments.
The FIPA Director informed Minister Košarac that she found an unsatisfactory situation in this agency after taking over her term of office.
Analyzing the internal structure of FIPA, the interlocutors assessed that it is necessary to improve the activities of this agency in the upcoming period.
The interlocutors pointed out the need to define a new form of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH and FIPA in order to improve the business environment for the improvement of foreign investments through coordinated activities.
They also pointed out the need to improve cooperation between the private and public sectors, the BiH Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations announced.
