SARAJEVO, August 30 (FENA) - Masters of Bosnian-Herzegovinian journalism Mirza Sadiković (posthumously) and Šemso Tucaković, as well as the team of the Television 5, are the winners of the "Nino Ćatić" Plaque.

The award ceremony was held yesterday at the Sarajevo City Hall, organized by the Association of Journalists and Media Workers "Nino Ćatić".

Plaques were awarded to deserving individuals and one collective on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of journalist and poet Nihad Nino Ćatić, in memory of him as an individual and the work of that Srebrenica hero and war reporter.

Nino Ćatić was a journalist from Srebrenica. He reported on the most dramatic days for Srebrenica and Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the war, he reported daily and informed the public about the suffering in this city. He last appeared on July 10, 1995, begging desperately to help Srebrenica, and was last seen on July 11, 1995. His mother, Hajra Ćatić, is still searching for her son's remains.

In his honor, the Association that bears his name wants to encourage journalists and media houses in BiH to engage in professional and objective reporting on all events in the country and the world.
