SARAJEVO, August 31 (FENA) - A delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Barisa Čolak, when asked to comment on yesterday's elections in Montenegro, told reporters that he hoped the situation would stabilize and that it was very important that all countries in the region to have a stable political system and make progress towards European and Euro-Atlantic integration as soon as possible.

"I expect that the situation would consolidate and that the government would be formed very soon. I think that Montenegro is unquestionably on the European path, and it is already a member of the NATO, so we should only expect stability," said Čolak.

A delegate in the House of Peoples of the state parliament, Asim Sarajlić, said that Montenegro is a country that has recently become a member of NATO, a country that has opened the last chapters on its path to the EU.

"I watched the elections, the DPS of Milo Đukanović won the elections. Now, forming a government is a different procedure and it seems to me that at the moment the three coalitions that made up the opposition have a slight advantage so far. In fact, everything seems to depend on one seat in the parliament," said Sarajlić.

He added that Đukanović, as President of Montenegro and leader of the DPS, "must make a step towards the opposition and must show flexibility, because Montenegro must complete its path, it is a member of NATO, it is a civic nation-state and I hope, the future member of the EU".

An MP in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Damir Arnaut, said that it was extremely important for Montenegro to "continue on the pro-Western, pro-European path, not only for Montenegro but also for Bosnia and Herzegovina as well."

"Everything that happens in the region, even in Montenegro, which is the smallest of our neighbors, also affects us in BiH. That is why it is extremely important, for the sake of BiH as well, that Montenegro continues on the EU and NATO  paths," said Arnaut.
