MOSTAR, September 2 (FENA) – Marking of the 'Gold September', the month of raising awareness of children's cancer, began last night with the illumination of buildings in several BiH cities, including Mostar Old Bridge.
"The goal of the 'Gold September' campaign is to raise awareness about all aspects of the fight against childhood cancer, both during the hospital stay and the period of return to the home environment after treatment. The fact that three out of four children win the fight against cancer speaks for itself. For the fourth family, the unthinkable happens.
In addition to the Old Bridge, the National Museum, the Academy of Fine Arts and the Building of the Institutions of BiH in Sarajevo, the building of the Cantonal Chamber of Commerce in Tuzla and the Captain's Tower in Bihać were illuminated in gold last night.
