Exhumation at Duboki Potok site in Kneževo municipality continues

SARAJEVO, September 2 (FENA) - An exhumation process is underway at the site of Duboki Potok in the municipality of Kneževo, overseen and coordinated by the prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, with an expert associate located directly at the site.

So far, several fragments of human bones have been found, which are presumed to belong to one person, and the search continues intensively.

According to operational data, the remains of Bosniak victims from the area of Kotor-Varoš, who tried to get to Travnik via Mount Vlašić in 1992, could be found at this site, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH announced.

The BiH Prosecutor’s Office stated that this is a very inaccessible location, in a mountainous area, which was previously demined by order of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, and support in the process of searching for remains is provided by the alpinist team of the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA.

There is also a forensic pathologist, a representative of the IRMCT field office within the operational group for searching for missing persons "TERA", representatives of the BiH Missing Persons Institute and the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP), as well as representatives of the RS Ministry of Interior.

The exhumation continues intensively, it is said in the statement.
