SARAJEVO, September 10 (FENA) - The Democratic Front has called on the public to stand up for judges of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, specifically for the protection of Court President Ranko Debevec, who has been exposed to political and other pressures from SNSD and Milorad Dodik.
They state that the goal of such pressures is to create an environment in the judicial system of Bosnia and Herzegovina in which the final attack on the state and the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina would pass without any consequences.
The DF points out that the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the last, if not the last, barrier to the scenario of the institutional collapse of the state.
“The Democratic Front reminds that the rule of law is one of the key priorities in the Opinion of the European Commission on the candidate status of BiH for EU membership and that the silence of international and especially European officials in Bosnia and Herzegovina is alarming when it comes to political attacks on the Court of BiH,” DF announced.
