SARAJEVO, September 14 (FENA) - President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) BiH Bakir Izetbegović said after the session of the SDA Collegium that Aljoša Čampara "hardly can remain a member of the SDA after the words he used in explaining his resignation from the party's presidency."
"I think it will be difficult for him to stay in the SDA because he said what he had to say. Čampara resigned irrevocably, it will be accepted by the SDA Main Board, and I don't know what will happen next. The SDA gave him a chance, an opportunity, support, we will see what his response will be," said Izetbegović.
The President of the SDA said that he talked with Čampara before he made his decisions.
"I know the reasons for his resignation, but I would not go into it any further. And so far we have had people who left the SDA and then spoke about dissatisfaction and lack of democracy in the SDA, the path the party is heading and so on. Then we go to the polls, the SDA gets its 310,000 votes. We can see where his predecessors are, how they did in the elections and how many votes they received," said Izetbegović.
"This is a democratic and strongest party in BiH and everyone can say what they think. There will be scandals, corruption, wherever there is power, but we will solve it and those who create problems in any way will be removed," said Izetbegović.
