SARAJEVO, September 17 (FENA) - OSCE Ambassador to BiH Kathleen Kavalec, with associates, visited the Foreigners’ Affairs Service today. Director of this institution Slobodan Ujić informed her about the working conditions in the Service and the problem of increased number of illegal migrants in BiH.
The interlocutors especially pointed out that there is an increasing number of families with children among the migrant population, and that the presence of an increasing number of unaccompanied minor migrants is evident, for which it is necessary to find an adequate form of care.
They pointed out that better cooperation and coordination of all agencies at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina is necessary in order to effectively respond to all challenges in a situation of increased influx of migrants.
Director of the Foreigners’ Affairs Service Slobodan Ujić emphasized that one of the challenges is still the lack of human and technical capacities, the Foreigners’ Affairs Service announced.
