SARAJEVO, September 17 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnis and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović confirmed to reporters in Sarajevo after the Presidency session that this institution did not decide to move the BiH Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, nor did it reach a decision to recognize Kosovo as an independent country.

Džaferović said that the BiH Presidency member Željko Komšić asked not to vote on either of those two items, but that was not an option because another BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik asked for a vote when he supported the relocation of the BiH Embassy to Jerusalem.

On the other hand, Džaferović and Komšić voted for BiH to recognize Kosovo as an independent country, and Dodik voted against it, so the proposal will go to the second round of voting, and if the positions remain the same, Dodik will have the right to invoke the institute of the protection of the entity interest.

Džaferović says that it remains to be seen how things would proceed, but it is certain that everyone will remain true to their original positions.
