SARAJEVO, September 18 (FENA) - In the last seven days, the Service for Foreigners' Affairs issued a measure of expulsion from the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 101 foreign citizens.
Due to illegal entry or stay, the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs issued an expulsion measure for 101 foreign citizens and banned from entering and staying in Bosnia and Herzegovina citizens of Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Morocco, Algeria, India, Egypt, Iraq, Iran and Yemen. The mentioned persons were placed under supervision in the Immigration Center or their movement was restricted until they left the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is stated in the announcement.
The inspection determined certain irregularities in five facilities, and misdemeanor orders were issued to the owners of facilities that provided accommodation services to foreign nationals for non-compliance with legal provisions.
The Service for Foreigners’ Affairs issued a measure of expulsion to a Croatian citizen, who committed the criminal offense of alienation of property in the area of Banja Luka, with a ban on entering and staying on the territory of BiH for a period of three years.
The Service has made a voluntary return for 19 Turkish citizens who have been returned to their country of origin.
The Service for Foreigners' Affairs registered 12.521 migrants since the beginning of 2020, of which only in the last seven days there were 901 migrants.
There are currently 6.440 migrants in temporary reception centers.
The Service for Foreigners’ Affairs, in accordance with its competencies and capacities, will continue with intensified operational activities in response to the increased influx of migrants in Bosnia and Herzegovina, announced the Service.
