SARAJEVO, September 22 (FENA) - Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Bakir Izetbegović received today the Ambassador of the State of Qatar Sultan Bin Ali Al-Khater.
The two officials stated that the relations between the two countries are very good, as well as that there is room for further improvement of economic cooperation.
They information exchanged on the steps taken by the authorities of the two countries in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic and its consequences.
Al-Kather informed Izetbegović about the legislation of the State of Qatar which enables the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina the right to own and use real estate in that country, which is the basis for the competent BiH institutions, according to the principle of reciprocity, to provide equal rights to Qatari citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Izetbegović supported the principle of reciprocity and stressed that it is necessary to remove administrative obstacles towards a greater number of Qatari investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, said the office of the Deputy Chairman of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of BiH Bakir Izetbegović.
