SDA: Inadmissible inertia of BiH Prosecution in the Višković case

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, September 22 (FENA) - The inertia shown by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by Gordana Tadić, in the case of RS Prime Minister Radovan Višković in committing genocide in Srebrenica is an inadmissible relationship that further undermines the credibility of this judicial institution, announced today Party of Democratic Action (SDA).

“The fact is that after the allegations from the testimony before the Court of BiH, but also by the Hague Tribunal, which incriminate Višković, were published, the Prosecutor's Office did not actually do anything. The very announcement that they have already "formed the case" means only that they have been avoiding concrete actions for a long time, which is in itself illegal and scandalous,” SDA said in the statement.

It is obvious, according to the SDA, that this inertia and passivity of the Prosecutor's Office in the Višković case is politically motivated, and that Gordana Tadić introduced double standards in the Prosecutor's Office, according to which the RS Prime Minister is not arrested even after suspicion of the most serious war crimes. Bosniak officials are arrested and persecuted on loose indications.
