SARAJEVO, September 24 (FENA) - In the past 24 hours, 1.487 samples were registered with the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 154 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.
New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH.
So far, 150.524 samples have been tested, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 17.033 individuals.
In the past 24 hours, 11 new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH. In the past 24 hours, six people died, four men from Zenica, Jajce, Sarajevo and Tomislavgrad, and two women from Žepče and Srebrenik, while five deaths have just been reported to the Institute form the previous few days.
As of today, the total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 487, 320 men and 167 women.
In the Republika Srpska entity, 544 laboratory samples were tested in the last 24 hours, and a new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 81 people. These are 44 males and 37 females, of which 21 are younger, 49 middle-aged and 11 older, said the RS Institute of Public Health.
One death was reported in which the presence of coronavirus was confirmed. He is a middle-aged man from Banja Luka.
So far, 8.976 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 294 people have died in whom a test for coronavirus has been confirmed.
