SARAJEVO, September 24 (FENA) - Director of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Galić and his associates on Thursday received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Bosnia and Herzegovina Johanna Strömquist, First Secretary for Political and Economic Affairs, Annelie Stiglund and the First Secretary and Nordic Liaison Officer, Peter Vallaste.
Director Galić welcomed the delegation of the Kingdom of Sweden to BiH and thanked them for the assistance they have provided to BiH through their diplomatic mission, said the BiH Border Police.
Galić informed his interlocutors about the competencies, organization and activities of this police agency in the fight against all forms of cross-border crime.
The two sides discussed the security situation and the ongoing situation regarding illegal migration through the territory of BiH and the measures taken to combat illegal migration, as well as the problems faced by police officers of this agency in their daily operation.
They also agreed on the modalities of cooperation between the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden in BiH and the BP BiH in the coming period.
