BRUSSELS, September 25 (FENA) - European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi welcomed the adoption of the Revised State War Crimes Strategy of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The BiH Council of Ministers adopted the Revised State Strategy at an extraordinary session yesterday, and BiH Justice Minister Josip Grubeša said after the session that the strategy had been in the pipeline for two years and that certain war crimes cases would be transferred to lower-instance courts.
“Twenty-fine years after the end of the conflict, it is high time to fight impunity for war criminals. All perpetrators must serve for their crimes, all victims and their families deserve justice,” wrote Varhelyi on his Twitter profile.
