SARAJEVO, September 29 (FENA) - The Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Ankara and the Consulate General of BiH in Istanbul have no information that any of the BiH citizens is permanently residing in Azerbaijan, since the entry of BiH citizens was practically impossible due to previously imposed restrictions on foreigners entering Azerbaijan regarding the coronavirus pandemic. Therefore, it is unlikely that someone is travelling there, Head of the Public Relations Office in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Nebojša Regoje, confirmed for FENA.

He emphasized that for now, none of BH citizens addressed BiH diplomatic and consular missions with requests related to the provision of consular assistance in connection with current conflicts.

Travel tips have been updated for the Republic of Azerbaijan: Travel to the Republic of Azerbaijan is not recommended.

“The recommendation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH for the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who are currently in the regions affected by the war, is to leave those regions immediately,” Regoje pointed out.

Also, for all additional information and instructions, the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina can contact the Embassy of BiH in Ankara, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH emphasized.
