SARAJEVO, October 2 FENA - The service for social animation for migrants staying in the "Ušivak" camp in Hadžići near Sarajevo, for which the money was donated by Pope Francis, will open its doors on Monday, October 5, the Apostolic Nunciature in Bosnia and Herzegovina announced today.
The donation, among other things, enables the supply of clothes, sanitary supplies, blankets and food.
The distribution of aid is entrusted to Catholic humanitarian organizations operating in the field in BiH.
On the occasion of the World Day of Migrants and Refugees, marked on September 27, the Holy Father, through the Apostolic Nunciature in BiH, sent a concrete sign of support and closeness to migrants currently living in several camps in BiH and employees who care for them.
