ZENICA, October 4 (FENA) - Turkish military mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina will invest in school infrastructure in the area of Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDC) in the amount of around 450,000 KM, in the coming months, it was confirmed at the meeting of Turkish military mission and ZDC Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Spahija Kozlić.
The Turkish military mission in BiH allocated 29.000 KM for the replacement of complete furniture - desks, chairs and boards in one school in Zenica, and 37.000 KM for the facade and installation of heating in two schools in Visoko. In addition, the reconstruction of the Zenica kindergarten "Pčelica" is planned, for which they provided 110.000 KM.
“These four projects should be implemented in the coming months. The funds have been approved and are awaiting realization,” said Kozlić.
He stated that the Turkish military mission in BiH is waiting for the "green light" for two more infrastructure projects in Zenica worth 150.000 KM - the reconstruction of the sports hall, parquet and lighting in one elementary school 95.000 KM, and the renovation of the facade and toilets in one high school worth 55.000 KM.
The Minister thanked the Turkish military mission in BiH for the successful and increasingly intensive cooperation and assistance of this friendly country in creating better conditions in schools in the Zenica Doboj Canton.
