SARAJEVO, October 6 (FENA) - Leaders of the Social Democratic Party of BiH warned today at a press conference about the possibility of election theft and abuse of votes of people who vote outside BiH in the upcoming local elections in BiH.

President of the SDP of BiH, Nermin Nikšić, stated that he expects the Central Election Commission of BiH to extend the current deadline of 48 hours so that all those interested can review the published list of voters who will vote by mail, and point out possible irregularities.

“Obviously, the ruling parties have become aware that it will be increasingly difficult to steal votes at polling stations because some political parties have united and are ready to oppose the abuses,” Nikšić pointed out.

He added that he had found out that his daughter, who had registered to vote in Germany where she lives, is on the voting lists in Switzerland and in Konjic.

Vice President of SDP BiH, Vojin Mijatović, emphasized that a huge increase in the number of voters abroad for the 2020 Local Elections was recorded especially in Croatia and Serbia, which, as he stated, included their intelligence services.
