SARAJEVO, October 13 (FENA) - Speaker of the National Assembly of the RS Nedeljko Čubrilović met today in Banja Luka with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bosnia and Herzegovina Haldun Koc and the newly appointed Consul General in Banja Luka Oguz Kilic.
Speaker Čubrilović welcomed the newly appointed Consul General of the Republic of Turkey and expressed belief that the opening of the Consulate General in Banja Luka would significantly improve mutual cooperation between the entity of RS and Turkey, especially in the field of economy, trade and tourism.
During the meeting, it was pointed out that the construction of the motorway, which will connect Sarajevo and Belgrade, and with the support of the Republic of Turkey, will enable faster development, stability and better integration of the region.
Čubrilović pointed out that the National Assembly of the RS, by passing the necessary laws, enabled the process of expropriation, design and construction of the motorway on the territory of the entity to run smoothly, and that this interstate road will be built in accordance with the highest standards.
