SARAJEVO, October 14 (FENA) - The House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly considered today the Bill on Prevention of Conflict of Interest in the Institutions of the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by MPs Saša Magazinović, Damir Arnaut and Jasmin Emrić, but did not vote on it.

Before commenting on the content of the law, the deputies voted on the set of amendments proposed by Saša Magazinović, Jasmin Emrić and Damir Arnaut, which challenge the six amendments adopted by the Constitutional Committee, and on the amendments proposed by Alma Čolo.

Given that there was no entity majority for the proposed amendments during the voting, they will be sent to the Collegium for harmonization. After the procedure regarding the amendments is completed, the deputies will also vote on the proposed law.

Due to the lack of the entity majority during the voting, the House of Representatives sent to the Collegium for harmonization of the Boll on Amendments to the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by MP Saša Magazinović, which was considered in the first reading.

The proposed law provides for the abolition of the possibility for elected officials to hold multiple functions simultaniously.

Today, the legislative procedure for the Bill on Public Procurement of Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose proponents are deputies from the DF, was suspended.

For the second time, the House of Representatives rejected the negative opinion of the Constitutional Committee, which, according to the Rules of Procedure, means that the legislative procedure has been suspended.

The deputies supported the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Court Fees in Proceedings before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by the Council of Ministers of BiH, which creates conditions for establishing an efficient mechanism for collecting court fees.

The House of Representatives accepted the request of MP Damir Arnaut to consider the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Fundamentals of Road Traffic Safety in Bosnia and Herzegovina by urgent procedure, but due to the lack of entity majority, the proposed law was sent to the Collegium for harmonization.

The House of Representatives appointed Hrvoje Tvrtković as Auditor General of the Office for Audit of the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Dragoljub Reljić as Director of the Agency for Personal Data Protection of BiH.

The House accepted a parliamentary initiative of Aida Baručija, Branislav Borenović, Dženan Đonlagić, Edita Đapo, Jasmin Emrić, Mirjana Marinković-Lepić, Saša Magazinović and Šemsudin Mehmedović which “instructs the BiH Ministry of Security to submit a report to the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly within 30 days, on the implementation of the Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy in the field of migration and asylum for the period 2016 - 2020”.
