SARAJEVO, October 22 (FENA) - Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bosnia and Herzegovina Haldun Koc visited the Embassy of Azerbaijan in BiH where he met with the First Secretary of the Diplomatic Mission of Azerbaijan, Elmar Aghasiyev.
During the meeting, Aghasiyev briefed in detail Ambassador Koc on the latest developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh region and expressed gratitude for the visit.
Koc pointed out that during the visit he paid tribute to Azerbaijani civilians killed in the Armenian attacks and once again expressed solidarity with Azerbaijan, expressing hope that the issue of the occupied territory of Azerbaijan would be resolved as soon as possible, within the framework of the United Nations resolutions, in accordance with international law and in the interest of the region in order to restore stability, Anadolu Agency reports.
The Azerbaijani Prosecutor's Office said that at least 63 civilians were killed and 292 were wounded in the attacks carried out by the Armenian army on the territory of Azerbaijan from September 27 until October 21.
