SARAJEVO, October 22 (FENA) - The regular session of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJPCBiH) will be held in Sarajevo on October 22 and 23, and the members of the Council will, among other things, consider the Report on Implementation of European Commission Recommendations for the HJPC and the BiH judiciary, it was confirmed to FENA from this regulatory body.
When it comes to the appointment of holders of leading judicial positions, the focus is on the appointment of the Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of the Federation of BiH.
This position remained vacant after the retirement of former Chief FBiH Prosecutor Zdravko Knežević in early November 2018, since his first deputy Tihomir Jurko was appointed acting Chief Prosecutor of the FBiH Prosecutor's Office.
