HJPC BiH appoints judicial officials

SARAJEVO, October 23 (FENA) - The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJPC BiH) today reached the decision to appoint judicial officials in Bosnia and Herzegovina at a session in Sarajevo.

At the level of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Adnan Begić and Dajana Baier-Ćehić were appointed to the position of judges of the Municipal Court in Bihać, while Ivana Brajković and Šejla Gušić were appointed to the position of judges of the Municipal Court in Mostar, and Aleksandra Kolašinac to the position of the expert associate of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo.

At the level of Republika Srpska, Vibor Vučić was appointed to the position of a judge of the District Commercial Court in Banja Luka, Selma Zećo to the position of a judge of the Basic Court in Zvornik, Cvijeta Sekulić to the position of a judge of the Basic Court in Bijeljina, Mirjana Radulović to the position of a judge of the Basic Court in Banja Luka and Aleksandra Timotić-Ristić to the position of an additional judge of the Basic Court in Teslić.

At the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bojana Jolović was appointed to the position of the prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Branko Morait to the position of additional judge of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

When appointing, the HJPC applies the relevant constitutional provisions governing equal rights and representation of the constituent peoples and others and respects equal gender representation.

The newly appointed judicial officials will take office on December 1, 2020, except for an additional judge of the Court of BiH who will take office on November 1, 2020, the HJPC BiH announced.
