BOBOVAC, October 25 (FENA) - BiH Deputy Defense Minister for Policy and Planning Mijo Krešić and Archbishop coadjutor of the Vrhbosna Archdiocese and Apostolic Administrator of the Military Ordinariate in BiH Msgr. Dr. Tomo Vukšić, on Saturday, led Catholics, members of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH, on the seventeenth military pilgrimage "Prayer for Homeland" in Bobovac.
Believers from nearby and distant gathered on a pilgrimage to the former seat of medieval Bosnian rulers, on the occasion of the day of the death of Bosnian Queen Katarina Kosača-Kotromanić. The Mass in Bobovac was presided over by the Archbishop, Metropolitan of Vrhbosna, Cardinal Vinko Puljić, together with Msgr. Tomo Vukšić, the Press Service of the Ministry of Defense of BiH announced.
In addition to Catholic members of the MoD and AF BiH and police and security services at all entity and state levels, the Eucharistic celebration was attended by Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Dragan Čović, MP from the House of Peoples of the BiH PA Marina Pendeš, President of the Federation Marinko Čavara and Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to BiH Ivan Sabolić. A delegation of the Military Ordinariate of the Republic of Croatia also took part in the pilgrimage.
The prayer walk to Bobovac was initiated by Cardinal Puljić in memory of the day of the death of Bosnian Queen Katarina Kosača, October 25, 1478, in order to unite in prayer for personal needs, for their own people and homeland Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also for all peoples and nations who live in it.
