SARAJEVO, October 26 (FENA) - Officers of the Dobrljin Border Police Unit on Saturday arrested a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, N.M. (1983), after he was discovered to be smuggling five people of Afro-Asian descent in the area of Novi Grad.
The illegal migrants did not have identification documents, and in a conversation with police officers, they stated that they came from Bangladesh, the BiH Border Police reported on Monday.
The vehicle and other evidence were temporarily confiscated, and the illegal migrants were handed over to the members of the Service for Foreigners Affairs of BiH for further proceeding, said the BiH Border Police.
