SARAJEVO, October 29 (FENA) - The Council of Ministers of BiH, at the proposal of the Ministry of Justice, in the second round of voting, passed the Decision on the adoption of the revised Action Plan of the Strategy for Justice Sector Reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2019 to 2020.
The Action Plan defines activities and responsible institutions, deadlines and clearly defined indicators for monitoring the implementation of activities in strategic areas of justice, execution of criminal sanctions, access to justice in BiH, support for economic development, coordination and European integration issues.
The Council of Ministers of BiH, at the proposal of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and with the adopted correction at the session, passed the Decision on the establishment of the State Border Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has nine members, with a mandate of three years.
The members of the Commission are representatives of the state ministries of civil affairs, security, and foreign affairs, the RS Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs and the FBiH Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs.
The Commission is responsible, inter alia, for identifying the state border with neighboring countries, drafting proposals for the correction of the border, in accordance with the Rules of Procedure, and preparing proposals for interstate agreements and other acts on the borders with neighboring countries.
The Commission shall submit a report on its work to the Council of Ministers at least twice a year.
The BiH Council of Ministers appointed Muamer Bandić as director and Suzana Radinković as deputy director of the BiH Labor and Employment Agency, as the first-ranked candidates after the public competition procedure and adoption of the report of the Commission for their selection, the BiH Council of Ministers said in a press statement.
