SARAJEVO, November 4 (FENA) - The fifth regional forum of innovation, technology and entrepreneurship in Bosnia and Herzegovina "Sarajevo Unlimited 2020" this year due to the coronavirus pandemic will be held online on November 5 and 6 on the topic "Adaptability in the new age".
Participants who register online or join the conference directly on the weareunlimited.ba website on November 5 and 6 will have the opportunity to listen to Martin Mossler from the Graz Science Park who will talk about the use of space technology for commercial purposes.
Also, one of the speakers will be Namik Hrle from IBM who is dedicated to artificial intelligence as the basis of the digital transformation of society.
When it comes to connecting Start-ups and investors, General Manager of 'Nomadic Minds', Francesco Cracolici, will talk about this topic at the forum. “Nomadic Minds” is a company that is one of the biggest recruiters of Start-ups for Silicon Valley.
Deborah Rozman, president and founder of the Heart Institute of California, will explain whether the heart is important in business and what role it plays in the world of innovation.
As the pandemic has burdened the world, bold decisions and technological investments could lead to results, including a more coordinated and widespread transition to digital forms, investment in smart cities to support community resilience, the transition to virtual workspaces and practices, and the adoption of new systems.
So far, a lot has been said about it on previous editions of Sarajevo Unlimited Forum, but the fact that panels and trainings dedicated to 3D printing only during Covid-19 showed the maximum purpose in practice.
This year, for the first time, we will talk about the gaming industry in BiH, which is currently developing at lightning speed. BH Telecom, as a long-term partner of Sarajevo Unlimited, supported the gaming competition. Gamers can apply for participation on the website weareunlimited.ba. The most successful teams that compete for two nights will be awarded with cash prizes.
This year's innovations will not be visible to the eye, but thematically dedicated to the readiness to enter the 4.0 era, and given that it is difficult to predict what the current situation will mean in the long run and that the crisis inspires innovation, it will undoubtedly force most manufacturers and companies to reconsider their business and accept new business approach.
The organizers believe that this year's "Sarajevo Unlimited" will present the best innovations resulting from the crisis caused by the pandemic because it was the fight against Covid-19 that brought innovative approaches to entrepreneurs and people around the world.
In the previous years, the "Sarajevo Unlimited" forum gathered 10,156 participants, presented 220 startups which promoted brilliant ideas to investors and audiences in the region and the world, 252 speakers who shared inspiring experiences in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The Forum also hosted 14 keynote speakers from Google, Deutsche Telecom, BBC, Alibaba, Viber and Huawei, and was attended by 480 foreign delegations, government officials, universities, corporations, banks, insurance companies, technology parks and creative hubs.
