Turković speaks with Serbian Foreign Minister Selaković in Antalya

SARAJEVO, November 6 (FENA) - Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turković talked today in Antalya with the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nikola Selaković.

The ministers of the two neighboring countries exchanged information on the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia regarding the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the consequences of the pandemic in health systems and the economy.

Turković and Selaković agreed that it is important to improve economic cooperation between the two countries, but also the entire region, in order to open opportunities for joint participation in other markets in the world. Minister Turković pointed out that strengthening regional cooperation is a strategic commitment of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which in the future can contribute to the progress of all countries in the region and improve the living standards of citizens.

The ministers agreed that the opening of the consulate of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Novi Pazar, for which all conditions are met, is a good sign for the improvement of relations between the two countries. Minister Selaković stated that this issue should be resolved soon, announced the PR Office of the BiH MoFA.
