SARAJEVO, November 9 (FENA) - At today's emergency, telephone session, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted several conclusions on its day-to-day operations and the work of the FBiH administrative bodies, organizations and professional and other services in the worsened COVID-19 epidemiological situation in the Federation of BiH, in accordance with the act of the Minister of Health and the Chairman of the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health and the order of this staff from November 4 this year.
The heads of the FBiH administrative bodies and organizations are obliged, wherever possible, to introduce work from home and work in shifts, in order to avoid greater turnover of employees and thus prevent further spread of the SARS-Cov-2 virus, but at the same time ensure the continuous performance of the activities of the institutions in these conditions. The IT department will provide resources to access the Information System from home, so that the processes can continue unhindered.
Employees of the FBiH institutions over the age of 60, diagnosed with chronic diseases, as well as pregnant women will be referred to work from home, wherever possible.
Performing activities, especially meetings, should be focused on other possibilities of business communication using information and communication technologies (via conference calls, email, Skype, etc.), and minimize business meetings, respecting all prescribed recommendations of the FBiH Public Health Institute.
The order of the Crisis Staff of the FBiH Ministry of Health from November 4 this year has ordered business entities to reorganize the work of their employees, in places where it is not possible to respect the distance of two meters between employees, by reorganizing working hours, organizing work in shifts, enabling work from home and apply other ways of performing work tasks that will not jeopardize activities and work processes, and will enable compliance with hygienic-epidemiological measures.
The conclusion will take effect on the day of its adoption and will be applied until the COVID-19 epidemiological situation in FBiH is reassessed by the Crisis Staff of the FBiH Ministry of Health and the FBiH Public Health Institute, the FBiH Government stated.
