SARAJEVO, November 11 (FENA) - Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sifet Podžić participated today in a video conference, organized for the participants of the NATO College of Defense in Rome within the Program of Cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
The activity was held in a virtual format, and a total of three topics were presented to senior officers and students of NATO College. Minister Podžić presented the topic "Cooperation Programs of BiH within NATO-PfP (Partnership for Peace Program)".
Podžić informed the participants of the NATO Defense College in Rome about the mechanisms of cooperation between BiH and NATO, emphasizing that it was planned to hold this event in our country, in order to bring BiH even closer to the participating countries and to offer them more than just a briefing, but that this was not possible due to the situation with the coronavirus pandemic.
Minister Podžić emphasized the importance of NATO's presence in BiH, and once again thanked all conference participants, as well as all other partners who have selflessly helped the MoD and AFBiH in affirming good practices in strengthening the rule of law and equality in the defense system.
The Joint Staff of the BiH Armed Forces presented the topic "BiH Armed Forces, their role and engagement", and the third topic "BiH within historical and regional perspectives" was presented by the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated the MoD BiH.
