SARAJEVO, November 12 (FENA) - A mass grave was discovered today during an exhumation at the Kragljivoda site in the Srebrenica municipality.
So far, the complete remains of at least three victims have been found in this grave, and according to the information from the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH, there are clear indications that these are Bosniak victims who were murdered in this area in 1993. Along with the victims, clothes and shoes were also found.
The exhumation will most like be continued tomorrow.
After the exhumation, the remains of the victims will be transferred to the Commemorative Center in Tuzla for criminal-technical processing and extraction of bone samples in order to determine the identity of the victims via DNA analysis.
The exhumation is handled by the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, a forensic pathologist, representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH and the ICMP BiH, and the location is secured by police officers.
