BANJA LUKA, November 15 (FENA) - President of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) Milorad Dodik expressed disappointment with the loss of the mayor position in Banja Luka, although, as he says, the SNSD party recorded an increase in the number of won votes compared to last local elections in the city.
He praised the engagement of the incumbent mayor Igor Radojičić, saying that he is one of the best mayors that this city has had. He expressed doubts about the behavior of some coalition partners who formally supported Radojičić as a candidate.
Dodik emphasized that the SNSD won 40 positions for mayor and municipal mayors in the last elections, and this time, it has won 41. He especially emphasized the victory in Doboj, Prijedor and East Sarajevo.
Dodik said that Mićo Mićić deserved the victory in Bijeljina, but that it did not happen, expressing regret for that. He pointed out that the SNSD continues to cooperate with Mić, regardless of the election result.
