CEC BiH - 'The Four' and SDA hold the leading mayor positions in Sarajevo Canton

SARAJEVO, November 16 (FENA) - The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CEC BiH) announced this morning new preliminary, unofficial and incomplete results of the local elections in BiH.

The results for mayors of all municipalities and cities in BiH were published based on 89.72 percent of processed polling stations. Of the total number of votes counted, 5.94 percent were invalid and 94.06 percent were valid.

So far, 76.69 percent of polling stations have been processed for the city and municipal assemblies. Out of that, 94.94 percent are valid and 5.06 percent are invalid, it was published on the website of the CEC BiH.

According to this morning's information, Srđan Mandić ("The Four") is leading in the race for the mayor of the municipality Centar Sarajevo in the Sarajevo Canton with 64.99 percent of the votes, while Ibrahim Hadžibajrić is leading for the mayor of Stari Grad Sarajevo ​​(NIP - NS - SDP - NBL) with 58.48 percent of the vote.

Hasan Tanović ("The Four") leads for the mayor of Novo Sarajevo with 67.33 percent of the votes, Semir Efendić (SDA) for the mayor of Novi Grad Sarajevo with 46.55 percent of the votes, and Nermin Muzur for the municipal mayor of Ilidža with 64.06 percent of the vote.

Akif Fazlić (SDA) leads for the mayor of Ilijaš with 51.25 percent of the vote, Hamdo Ejubović (SDA) for the mayor of Hadžići with 55.31 percent of the vote, Edin Smajić (SDA) leads for the mayor of Vogošća with 52.50 percent votes, and for the mayor of Trnovo, Ibro Berilo (SDA) leads with 81.19 percent of the vote.
