Džaferović receives credentials from newly appointed French Ambassador Toudic

SARAJEVO, November 17 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Chairman Šefik Džaferović received a letter of credence from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of France to BiH, Christine Toudic.

The Ambassador expressed France's commitment to the long-term partnership between the two countries, and expressed support for Bosnia and Herzegovina's European and NATO path, the BiH Presidency said.

Speaking about bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and France, the interlocutors agreed that they are traditionally friendly and that there is room for enhancing cooperation, especially in the field of trade and investment.

In this context, Ambassador Toudic informed Chairman Džaferović about the priorities in her work, which will be based on strengthening French investments, especially in the field of environmental protection and the development of the French language in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Chairman Džaferović thanked for the long-term important and proactive role of France in the reconstruction and development of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He welcomed the decision of France to expand the engagement of the French Development Agency (AFD) to Bosnia and Herzegovina, which proved the commitment to sustainable development and active engagement of France in our country.
