SARAJEVO, November 19 (FENA) - European Union project "EU4Agri" allocates 2.55 million KM of non-refundable funds for rural tourism in BiH, it was pointed out today at the online presentation of the public call for that project.

Coordinator for Agrarian Policies and Rural Development, Nežla Adilagić, explained that only partnerships consisting of the applicant and a minimum of three partners can apply for the public call.

“The applicant may be a unit of local self-government, a company or a craft engaged in the provision of tourist services or products. The same partners cannot apply for several different project proposals,” said Adilagić.

She added that each applicant can apply for grants in the amount of 20,000 KM to 200,000 KM, without VAT, depending on the number of members in the partnership.

Also, for each investment, the applicant and partners must provide their own co-financing of at least 15 percent of the total investment amount.

Adilagić emphasized that the deadline for submitting applications is December 21, 2020.

EU4AGRI is a European Union 4-year project (2020-2024) valued at 20.25 million BAM that aims to modernize agri-food sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The project is jointly implemented and co-financed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in BiH and Czech Development Agency (CzDA).
