SARAJEVO, November 24 (FENA) - Although the delegates of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted at today's session accepted to discuss the amendments to the law that would abolish the jubilee allowance for elected and appointed BiH officials under urgent legislative procedure, they rejected to support the amendment.

A delegate from the Bosniak caucus Denis Bećirović (SDP), who proposed such an amendment to the Law on Salaries and Remunerations in the BiH Institutions, said that the right of elected and appointed officials to this type of monetary remuneration is completely insensitive considering the difficult social and economic situation.

A different amendment to the Law on Salaries and Remunerations in the BiH Institutions was proposed by the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, but the Constitutional Committee of the House of Peoples assessed that it was not in accordance with the Constitution.

The House adopted the amendments to the Law on Court Fees in Proceedings before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the second reading proposed by the BiH Council of Ministers.

The Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Salaries and Other Remunerations in Judicial and Prosecutorial Institutions at the Level of Bosnia and Herzegovina was also adopted in the second reading.
